How to Read a Study Listing

Study listings can read like a wall of text. The good news is that every listing covers the same core questions: who is invited, what the schedule looks like, where visits take place, and how long the program runs.

Look for the eligibility section first. It tells you whether the program is open to people in your situation. Then check the visit and follow-up schedule. Some programs are mostly remote with check-ins by phone or app. Others ask for in-person visits on a fixed cadence.

If anything is unclear, you can always ask the study coordinator before deciding. A good program will welcome questions and take time to answer them.
